On the way to the polling station, a tragedy struck a Surin family when their pickup truck suddenly swerved off the road and ended up in a ditch on Highway 266 on Sunday.

Earlier this week, a raid took place at the Asia Hotel in Bang Lamung, Chonburi Province, which resulted in the arrest of 83 Indian tourists who were playing cards for money in the hotel's conference room.

According to Whoscall's annual report, a mobile caller ID app, fraudulent calls and messages are an increasing problem worldwide. In 2022, the app detected 405.4 million calls and messages from scammers worldwide.
