A robber has been arrested in Pattaya, Thailand, who has already been arrested multiple times for stealing personal belongings from tourists. After a Russian tourist was mugged on the street, police quickly found the suspect using CCTV footage.

Authorities in Phuket province in Thailand have warned tourists about the increased risk of jellyfish attacks. In order to raise awareness among foreign visitors, information boards have been set up on the beaches in four languages: Russian, English, Chinese and Thai.

Tourists in Pattaya are increasingly faced with the threat of theft and pickpocketing. Thai media reports also confirmed an increase in criminal activity in the area. Police Lieutenant Colonel Pichaya Kheavplung says there has been a notable spike in thefts, especially those targeting tourists.
