A government without allies: what are the chances of Rulet Wongsuwan?

In light of the latest public poll, in which Palang Pracharat party leader General Prawit Wongsuvan was outside the top 10 preferred candidates for the post of prime minister, many have begun to wonder about his future. However, Wongsuwan is not discouraged and says that he can form a government without allies.

Speaking to reporters, Wongsuwan said he was willing to go it alone if he could get more support in parliament. He also said that he was not against the fact that his party was excluded from possible coalitions.

However, such an approach may be risky, given the low popularity of Palang Pracharat among the population. According to the latest Nida Poll, Pheu Thai and Move Forward received the most support in the parliamentary elections, while Palang Pracharat was near the bottom of the list.

In addition, Wongsuwan is now only the 11th preferred candidate for prime minister, which could mean that he has little chance of winning in future elections.

However, Wongsuwan continues to maintain his physical health in order to be ready for a possible election victory. He stated that he swims every day to stay in shape.

Thus, Wongsuwan may try to form a government on his own, but this will be difficult in the absence of support from other parties. His success in future elections may depend on whether he can convince the population of his effectiveness as the country's leader.
