The Bangkok government is offering a free COVID-19 vaccine for people over 60, pregnant women and patients with chronic diseases at the Public Health Center (Women's Culture Society Building) in Dusit District.
"The vaccine will greatly help reduce the risk of severe symptoms and mortality, so people in these groups should get it immediately," said Dr. Anutra Chittinandana, chairman of the Royal College of Physicians of Thailand and adviser to the Governor of Bangkok.
People who have never received a COVID-19 vaccine can get a free shot at 69 community health centers in Bangkok every Wednesday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm (excluding public holidays). Although pre-registration is not required, people are encouraged to register on the QueQ website to reduce waiting times.
To serve people unable to reach health centers, the city will deploy mobile vaccination stations in the Atrium area, on the 5th floor of the CentralWorld shopping center on Rama I Street.
The item is open from 12:00 to 18:00 every Friday and Saturday from April 28 to May 28.
Although many people have already received the COVID-19 vaccine, there are still many who have not. Bangkok provides additional opportunities to receive a free vaccine for those who are at higher risk of developing severe symptoms.
