Bad weather and attacks of jellyfish - all this spoils the rest of tourists
According to forecasts, bad weather will continue in Thailand until February 17: showers, thunderstorms, hail and gusty winds. Tourists intending to go shopping and sightseeing in Bangkok had difficulty navigating the flooded streets.
Those who visited Pattaya also had a disappointing impression: on February 15, it rained almost all day, and the sky was completely overcast.
As for the Gulf of Thailand, according to forecasters, high waves are expected, and for safety reasons, it was decided to close all types of water activities until the weather improves.
To make matters worse, the number of jellyfish in Phuket has increased, causing some holidaymakers to seek medical attention due to their stings. Beach lifeguards are urging tourists not to use water or alcoholic beverages on the affected areas, as this can cause further allergic reactions, and instead use vinegar to treat bites.
