The Tourism Authority of Thailand reminds visitors to the country that e-cigarettes, hookahs and related items such as mixtures and liquids are illegal.
Tat also stressed that regular cigarettes are still allowed, but Thailand's tobacco control laws are very strict, so smokers should be aware of the restrictions when they want to smoke in public places.
Tour operators and travel agents have been asked to inform potential travelers about the ban on these items, as well as the country's strict no-smoking policy.
