Thailand's Urban Transport Authority "MRTA" is attentive to the inspection of drainage systems on the monorail lines: "Yellow" and "Pink", adhering to the principle of passenger safety and comfort.

The Yellow Line project, 30.4 kilometers from Lat Phrao to Samrong, was scheduled to open next month. However, construction along the Lat Phrao and Srinakarin route has been delayed.

The Pink Line, stretching from Khae Rai in Nonthaburi to Min Buri in eastern Bangkok, follows the route of the Ram Intra road and is due to open next June.

The MRTA said it has instructed the contractor, BSR Joint Venture, to expedite site cleanup and sanitation checks to ensure traffic safety on both routes.

They reported that the Yellow Line project is 99.02% complete and traffic is gradually being restored from Ratchada Junction to Lat Phrao Junction and from Srinakarin Road to Srinakarin Junction.

In the meantime, the Pink Line project is 96.43% complete and will soon be launched as well.
