Project for the Development of Sports Tourism
This project was organized to increase the potential of sports tourism in accordance with government policy. It opens new perspectives for Pattaya beyond regular tourism. The sports competitions are designed to promote tourism and recreation, as well as support the local economy.
Attracting Tourists and Supporting the Economy
The event will attract both Thai and foreign tourists to Pattaya. The use of sports and entertainment activities, such as beach volleyball, health runs, and paddleboarding, as well as the promotion of sports tourism, including tennis competitions by the Pattaya Beach Tennis Club, contributes to this goal.
Fun and Enjoyment for All Participants
The competitions will be held in accordance with established rules and regulations. Participants can look forward to fun and enjoyment!
Benefits for Development and Cultural Program
The event will benefit physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development. Some activities will be accompanied by drum performances, colorful fireworks, nightly music group performances, and a street food market where locals can offer their goods.
Dates and Location of the "Pattaya Beach Games 2024"
The "Pattaya Beach Games 2024" will be held at Jomtien Beach in Pattaya, Chonburi Province, in front of The Now Hotel, near the Yaimaak market, from August 30 to September 1, 2024.
Main Sporting Events
Beach Volleyball
Competitions will be divided into male and female categories. Each category will feature 8 teams, which will be split into 2 groups of 4 teams for round-robin games. The two best teams from each group will advance to the next round.
Competitions will be held: from August 30 to September 1, from 17:00 to 12:00.
Fun Run for Health
Participation is open to all, with no age or gender restrictions. The distance is 3 kilometers, and eco-themed waste collection activities will be held during the run.
The competition will take place: on August 31 at 17:00.
Participation: free of charge, but limited to 500 participants. Registration is available on the website.
Paddleboarding Competitions
Organized into 6 categories: men, women, boys under 15, girls under 15, boys under 10, and girls under 10.
The competitions will be held: on September 1, from 6:30 to 13:00.
