Return of Stolen Artefacts: Golden Boy and Kneeling Lady Repatriated to Thailand

Two significant cultural artefacts, the Golden Boy and the Kneeling Lady, have been returned to Thailand after nearly fifty years of absence. These artefacts were stolen in the 1970s and have now been successfully repatriated thanks to the joint efforts of Thai and international authorities. The Golden Boy and Kneeling Lady arrived at Suvarnabhumi International Airport, where they were greeted by representatives from the Ministry of Culture and other officials.

At the ceremonial event, ministry representatives emphasized the importance of the return of these artefacts for Thailand's national identity and cultural heritage. The Golden Boy and Kneeling Lady will be displayed at the National Museum, allowing the public to view these unique items that symbolize the country's rich history and cultural legacy.

The Minister of Culture noted that the return of these artefacts was made possible through long and complex efforts in locating and identifying them. He expressed gratitude to all international organizations and governments that contributed to the successful repatriation of the artefacts.
