The MYSawasdee tourist train operated by Malaysian Railways (KTMB) has scheduled 10 more return trips between the Malaysian capital and the southern Thai city this year.
This special train included 11 wagons with a capacity of 400 passengers. This year, he has already made two flights: February 4 and April 29.
The train departs from Kuala Lumpur on Saturdays, on holidays in Hat Yai. Malaysian tourists return on Sundays. This year, only in December, a trip of four special express trains from Kuala Lumpur to Hat Yai is planned.
Filled with foreign visitors, these trains are boosting the income of restaurants, hotels, retail stores and entertainment venues in Hat Yai and Son Kla, says Hat Yai Railway Station senior manager Narongrit Karikarn.
In honor of the May 1 holiday, a police service was organized at the Hat Yai railway station to increase the confidence of tourists in security measures and tourism services.
