Twenty-one-year-old Muay Thai athlete Petjija Lukyaoporongtom was rewarded for another amazing performance last weekend. The "Queen" smashed her French rival Ines Pilutti in the final seconds of the first round of their bout at ONE Lumpinee 16.
Petjigi's aggressive style and hard punching proved too much for Pilutti, and the Thai star took his second victory as an ONE fighter and extended his overall win streak to 10.
But more importantly, team spokesperson Mehdi Zatout impressed ONE Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong, who awarded her a 3.5 million baht promotional contract with a 350,000 baht performance bonus.
As part of the contract, Petjidja will become a participant in ONE's "Fight Night" in US sub-time and will receive powerful advertising support on her way to world fame.
In her post-fight speech, she shared her excitement with ONE commentator Mitch Chilson.
"I want to thank Hong Chatri for this amazing opportunity. I promise to keep training and getting better," she said.
The girl gained fame at a young age, gaining more than 100 fights by the age of 10. At least 70 of those fights were against boys.
Since then Petjija has amassed a stunning professional record of 203-12 as well as a 5-0 record in professional boxing.
This athlete is a former WPMF Muay Thai World Champion and WMC World Champion, as well as the winner of the prestigious Thai Fight Royal Cup tournament in 2021.
