The leader in logistics and cargo transportation, Pan-Asia Silk Road (PAS), together with partners, is launching a new historical route for delivering fresh durians from Thailand to China in just 5 days.

Over the past two years, more than 113,000 Thais working abroad have transferred home over 299 billion baht, according to the Labor Department. 

Chinese consumers will soon be able to taste fresh durians from Thailand as the first shipment of this exotic fruit to China begins on April 19. 

Thailand is the world's second largest producer of bioplastics, but its role in the industry could be even greater. The country is already using corn, sugarcane and cassava to produce sustainable plastic, but other biodegradable resources such as wood and even kitchen waste could also be considered.
