August is the month when the temperature of air and water in the sea is at about the same level as in July. The average temperature during the day is about 30.7°C, and at night it drops to 28.4°C. The number of rainy days is also reduced to 7 compared to the previous month.
In September, when summer ends, the daytime temperature averages 30.1°C, while at night the thermometer drops to 28.2°C. The sea temperature is pleasantly warm - 29.2°C, which makes it ideal for swimming and water sports. There can be up to 11 rainy days in September, but that doesn't stop you from enjoying your time on the beach.
With the onset of October, the temperature gradually begins to decrease, and on average the day becomes a little cooler - 29.9°C. However, the water remains warm and the temperature averages 29.1°C. At night, the thermometer also stays at a fairly high level - 28.2°C. The number of rainy days increases to 13, but sunny days still predominate.
In November, the period of transition to winter continues on Koh Tao. The daytime temperature drops another 0.1°C to 29.8°C, while at night the thermometer shows 28.3°C. Sairee Beach is located in the heart of the west coast. It can be called without exaggeration the most outstanding on the island. Saideng Beach is a very small isolated beach near Shark Bay. It has an idyllic atmosphere and ideal conditions for those who like to "catch the wave". Rental housing is much cheaper than in Thiang Og, but it is more difficult to find it due to the small number of offers.
Aow Luek is a cozy small beach with striking turquoise water, located in the eastern part of the island. The diversity of marine life here will amaze even experienced divers.
