Accommodation prices

Italian pasta costs 200 - 300 baht, and pizza prices are in the range of 160 - 200 baht. Freshly squeezed juices can be found in every corner of the island. Their cost is from 30 to 40 baht.

However, keep in mind that the price tags in shops and catering differ from the mainland and Koh Samui in a big way. This is largely due to the need to deliver goods by sea. Market trading is not common, and stall prices are double those on Koh Samui.

The resort has enough drinking establishments where you can spend the evening after the beach or conquering the depths of the sea. Many bars are open around the clock (you can find out about this from the staff of diving schools or on advertising posters). An interesting fact is that establishments in the northern part of Sayri are open until one in the morning, and in the southern part until the morning. Therefore, some tourists move from one bar to another.

There are also budget shops on the island, for example, 7-eleven. In hotels, bars, private stores, food is more expensive.

Prices for excursions

Ko Tao cannot boast of an abundance of attractions, so you will not see a large number of offers. This is offset by a well-developed infrastructure for beach recreation and diving.

Scuba diving is the main tourism destination on the island. There are dozens of schools ready to teach this art to both neophytes and experienced divers. Prices are quite affordable and are considered among the lowest in Thailand. A course of study lasting 5 days will cost 8 - 10 thousand baht. The price often includes accommodation and breakfast. If you do not speak English or do not understand this language well, there are schools with instruction in Russian. Usually, at the end of the course, the student is issued a deep-sea diver's certificate.

You will definitely be offered a ride to a huge stone, which was once signed by the ruler of Siam himself. A fascinating place to visit is the Fisheries Museum. The cost of a day trip to Koh Tao depends on the season. Prices range from 1200 baht for children and 1600 baht for adults. The price includes transfer from the hotel and back, light breakfast and lunch, snorkeling equipment.
