Ju Tui is considered one of the main Chinese temples, which was originally built in 1911. on Soi Romani, but after a fire, it was rebuilt on the site where it is now. Each temple building was erected in honor of a separate deity of the Taoist religion.
The main deity of the shrine is Tean Hu Huan Soi, who is the protector of creativity and people of artistic professions. It is this temple that becomes the center of attraction during the celebration of the Vegetarian Festival, which is also called the Feast of the Nine Gods.
These days, festival participants demonstrate the wonders of the human body - piercing themselves with various objects, wiping themselves with boiling oil, standing on sharp blades and hot coals. All this leaves an indelible impression on the audience.
