In 1992, a Rehabilitation Center was organized on the territory of the island, where gibbons injured by poachers are delivered. The main goal of the organization is the restoration and return of primates to their natural habitat. The reserve functions and conducts its activities at the expense of donations and sponsorship contributions.
Dozens of individuals undergo a rehabilitation course in the center every year. For visitors to the reserve, the necessary information about the work of the Center is provided, educational excursions are held, during which you can see the wards who are being treated here, but care must be taken not to frighten the animals. If you come here early in the morning, you can hear these charming primates singing.
