Cape Phanwa is known among tourists for one remarkable attraction - which was created in 1983. "Aquarium" is a branch of the Phuket Marine Biological Center.
It houses a not very large, but quite informative collection of marine fauna. Guests of the "Aquarium" have a wonderful opportunity to observe the exotic marine life that live in the waters of the local area. More than 150 species of representatives of the collection brought from the Adaman Sea live here.
Thanks to the interactive English-speaking accompaniment of excursions, it is possible to get acquainted in detail with the peculiarities of the habitat of the underwater world. Your attention will be given the most interesting specimens: electric eels, striped catfish, sharks, octopuses and cuttlefish.
