Transport in Koh Lipe

Once you arrive on the island, you will have several options for getting around. If you are staying in one of the resort areas, you can usually get around on foot as many attractions, restaurants and shops are within walking distance. However, if you're planning to travel further afield, there are several other transportation options.

Ko Lipe is a relatively small island, so there is no public transport and related infrastructure. There are also no paved trails or roads. The territory of the island can be almost completely walked around or use a motorcycle taxi (50-200 baht). You can take a sightseeing ride on a motorbike for about 400 baht per person.

Please be aware that you will need to have a valid driver's license and wear a helmet as the roads on the island can be narrow and winding.

If you wish, you can swim around the island in boats - from one beach to another it costs 50-100 baht. But it should be noted that moving on water takes more time than walking on land.

There are bike rentals on the island. Rental points are located near the pier and at the hotels. Bicycle rental at a cost of approximately 200 baht per day.
