Prices in Chiang Mai

Chiang Mai is located in the northern part of Thailand. This location has its advantages. First of all, the advantage lies in pricing. In addition, a huge selection of dishes can be seen in a typical Thai market. Absolutely everything is sold here, from fresh exotic fruits to ready-made food. Prices here are the lowest, so lunch will be as budget-friendly as possible. The markets are in great demand among the local population.

Transport prices

Transport links in the city are very good. In Chiang Mai, you can see different types of transport. There are plenty of options for getting around. Public transport costs at least 20 baht. You can get to anywhere in the city.

In addition to the usual buses, open tuk-tuks travel around the city. Such a trip will cost you 25 baht. If you wish, you can go on an individual tuk-tuk. Things in Thailand are inexpensive. If you buy clothes, shoes, souvenirs in small shops, then do not spend much. Naturally, expensive brands here are the same as in other countries.

Simple clothes can be bought even in the market. Here the choice is simply huge. A T-shirt will cost 150 baht, dresses 200, and swimwear at least 170. There are really a lot of things, but they are all the same. Variety or stylish clothing is not to be found here.

Souvenirs are also inexpensive. It is better to buy them in the markets, and not in stores where prices are oriented towards visiting foreigners. Market vendors also have magnets, mugs, key chains, Thai cosmetics and religious items. For one souvenir you can pay about 20-50 baht.
