The most popular and crowded Koh Phangan beach is Malibu. The beach is an extension of Chakoklum, but, unlike it, Malibu has a lot of shade, exotic-looking ornamental plants around the beach, well-groomed and trimmed. The sand on the beach is white, the coast is wide - an average of 5-10 meters, and the largest area is a platform with an area of 50 by 50 meters.
The beach, like many on Koh Phangan, is rather shallow, but it is very convenient to swim at the peak of the tide. There are no sun loungers, many tourists rest on towels. Malibu's biggest plus is easy accessibility and a huge amount of infrastructure - less than a hundred meters away there are bars and restaurants, and a little further along the road there are shops, pharmacies, ATMs, spas, and rental offices.
There is also an opportunity to buy a souvenir and visit the local curiosity - the white temple. Getting to the beach is easy - from the main road to the minimarket, then to the left and then follow the signs and signs. From Thong Sala about 20 minutes.
