Haad Salad is a beach in the northwestern part of Koh Phangan, located between Haad Yao and Mae Haad. It can be considered optimal in terms of amenities, distance from the central villages and the quality of the beach. In shape, it resembles the letter P, the length is about half a kilometer. The coast is fortified with stones. At the height of the tide, the water reaches almost to the coastal palms, leaving a very narrow strip of three meters.
The sand is fine, light and very pleasant, only on the left side of the beach there are stones. The entrance to the water is steep right next to the shore, up to the neck for an adult, but at low tide you have to go 10 meters to the depth. There are practically no waves, the sea is restless only during the monsoon period and with very strong winds. Around are several hotels, restaurants and a couple of private cafes, as well as a large number of shops where you can buy the necessary things, albeit at inflated prices.
There are hotels between the beach and the main road, so the easiest way to get to Haad Salad is to turn left at the crossroads and go to the Salad Beach Resort, and then go straight through its territory to the beach.
