Bang Rak Beach 5.3 km from Koh Samui Airport
In the northeast of the island, next to the main road, there is a well-equipped Bang Rak beach, about three kilometers long and a coastal strip 20 meters wide. There is an airport not far from it. On the beach, guests are offered many restaurants and bars, cafes and shops.
Access to the seashore is somewhat difficult due to the large number of hotels and inns. On the central part of the beach you will find a wide variety of beach activities. Here the shore is covered with fine sand, deep bathing places begin almost at the shore. On the east side of the beach there is a market where they sell seafood. Due to the proximity of the piers, the water in the sea is not always ideal. In winter, the waves are walking here, because of which the water becomes cloudy.
