This is the most convenient beach in the city. It is here that tourists mainly rest. There are various attractions nearby.

Although there are quite a lot of people here, the beach is still one of the most polluted places in the city. Cars drive all the time on Beach Road. Moreover, a lot of waste is dumped into the Gulf of Thailand, due to which the water near the coast becomes dirty. From April to November, during the period of heavy rains, showers carry all the dirt and debris from the coast into the sea.

The Thais tried to correct this situation. They re-layed the paths, brought fresh sand to the beach, but all this did not work. Central Pattaya Beach still looks, to put it mildly, not very good. Why are there so many tourists here despite all the shortcomings? The answer is very simple! On the beach there are sun loungers and parasols, and in large numbers, and there are restaurants, cafes and shops nearby.

Locals do not advise to rest here with children. Still, you should monitor the health of the child, and on the beach there is a chance to pick up something.

How to get to Pattaya Beach. The easiest way is to take a taxi or songteo. When public transport arrives, ask the driver if they go to the Central Festival Mall or the Hilton Hotel. If you go a little further, for example, to the South Road, you can take a tuk-tuk.
