Dongtan 2.5 km. from Bali Hai Pier
The beach got its name because of the palm trees that grow here. The place is pretty quiet. There are no roads nearby, and there are few vacationers here. The entrance to the sea is gentle, and the bottom itself is sandy.
The beach has sun loungers and parasols for visitors to relax in comfort. There are also toilets and showers, equipped with volleyball courts. Surfing equipment can be rented if desired. Renting a sun lounger will cost you 50-100 baht. If you do not want to spend money on this, take a blanket or towel with you. Near the beach you can see cute squirrels that constantly jump through the trees. It is better not to get close to animals - just watch.
