Pranang is a beach on the Railay Peninsula, surrounded by rocks on which tropical plants grow. You can get to Pranang by sea and from Krabi airports. You can walk here from the neighboring Railay Beach, admiring the rocks with stalactites.
The visiting card of Pranang Beach is the emerald-colored sea water and the shore with white sand, on which it is pleasant to bask in the sun.
Sandy bottom, smooth descent, clear, clean sea water, through the thickness of which you can see the underwater world - what could be better!
In the bay, the sea is almost always calm, and only in windy weather low waves can rise.
There is no infrastructure on the beach, which gives the place privacy and tranquility.
However, along the shore you can see floating restaurant boats where a vacationer can buy a variety of drinks and snacks. Such boats sail to the beach every day at noon.
The only attraction of the beach is Pranang Cave, dedicated to the goddess of fertility. Among the Thais, this cave is considered sacred. It is located in the eastern part of the beach.
Due to the lack of infrastructure, tourists have to hide from the sun under palm trees. In the afternoon, the beach is partially covered by the shadow of the rocks, but in the late afternoon it becomes sunny on the beach. Don't forget to bring an umbrella, hat and sunscreen.
Despite the beauty of the resort, holidays with small children are not very popular here, since there are no playgrounds on it, and it takes quite a long time to get to it.
But you can swim at any time due to the absence of pronounced tides on the peninsula.
