This monastery is decorated with silver. Once upon a time, talented craftsmen lived here, who decided to surprise the locals.

They used precious metal to decorate the temple. In the hall of initiation, one can find many beautiful nickel and aluminum panels, which depict unusual patterns. When night falls, all this shimmers very beautifully and flickers with multi-colored lights.

The temple itself was built in 1502. Unfortunately, little has survived from it. Most of the temple has been restored. Only the teak pillars and roof beams in the main sanctuary remained the same.

Inside the temple, you can see unusual frescoes in which various elements of Theravada are intertwined, as well as statues of Ganesha made of gold and silver. They symbolize the intersection of Buddhism and Hinduism in this country.
